I am sorry to say that your photo of "Valaida Snow" does not show Valaida! This is Lorraine Glover, wife of hard bop trumpet star Donald Byrd. Photograph was taken by famed jazz photographer William Claxton in 1960 – when Billie Holiday was already dead. This beautiful photo keeps popping up on the internet with the wrong caption.
